We are a specialist private transfer minicab service, we provide travellers with a vehicle and a driver to transport them to or from UK Airports, Seaports, London Hotels or any UK Postal Code. This is NOT a shared service. The vehicle is for your sole use.
The difference is losing its meaning with passing the time. Long time ago 'cab' meant horse-drawn vehicle available for hire (short for cabriolet). The name stuck when cab firms upgraded to motorized vehicles, fitted with a 'taximeter' (which measured how far you'd gone). These vehicles were called 'taxi-cabs'.

Some people in the UK reserve the word 'taxi' for the diesel-engined ones with a high roof to the passenger compartment (also known as 'black cabs'), and use the term 'minicab' for standard passenger saloon cars that just happen to be available for hire.

Users in the UK may have a good reason to make a distinction between “taxis” and “cabs”, mainly because they have many different kinds of such vehicles. Instead of saying that they took “an ordinary saloon taxi cab” to the airport, they can just say that they took a “minicab”. It is a more convenient way to describe the type of vehicle for hire. Regardless, whether the distinction is consciously adopted or not, nobody in the UK will refer to a black cab as a “minicab”.

Airport taxi London and minicabs in London:

On Transport for London website you can learn that only licensed taxis (black cabs) can pick up passengers on the street. So, you are allowed to hail a taxi from the street, but not a minicab. Minicabs must be booked in advance. Minicab fares are often considerable lower compared to the black taxis because they run on a fixed fare. Airport Taxi London on the other hand run on a taximeter, which consider traffic, distance and waiting time. For your own convenience, you should book minicab for airport transfers in London in advance, to get best service and unbeatable prices.

What is a booked minicab? It is one that you or a friend has booked. It guarantees that your trip will be carried out by a licensed, insured driver in a licensed, insured vehicle.
Tell us where and when you want to go, and we will get you there. We have many different types of vehicle and they are all provided with polite and helpful licensed PCO drivers.

Executive Car fits 3 passengers along with 2 hand luggage and 2 items of checked luggage (small or medium size, for large luggages we recommend an Executive MPV Car).

Estate Car fits 4 passengers along with 4 hand luggage and 4 items of checked luggage (small or medium size, for large luggages we recommend an MPV Car).

MPV Car fits 4 passengers along with 4 hand luggage and 4 items of checked luggage .

MPV5 Car fits 5 passengers along with 2 hand luggage and 4 items of checked luggage or only 5 checked luggage (small or medium size, for large luggages we recommend an MPV8 Car).

MPV6 Car fits 6 passengers along with only 6 hand luggage (if you have more than this amount of luggages, we recommend an MPV8 Car).

Executive MPV Car fits 6 passengers along with 8 hand luggage and 8 items of checked luggage.

MPV8 Car / Minivan fits 8 passengers along with 10 hand luggage and 8 items of checked luggage.

For groups of 9 passengers or more, we can either provide you with 2 (or more) vehicles.
We offer journeys to and from anywhere in the UK, these must start or end in the London area (including all London airports).
Our management team has over 6 years of experience in passenger logistics. Our aim to provide a service that is second to none. Our drivers are licenced and approved by Transport for London (PCO).
All airport pickups come included with the flight tracking .We monitor your flight and reschedule your pickup time accordingly.

You provide us with the flight number and landing time; when the plane lands, our driver will be at the pickup point after 30mins (minimum time frame we recommend after landing). You also have 1 hour free waiting time after the actual landing time, included in the service.

As our service includes 60 mins of free waiting and parking time, we advise to use the following time frames, to avoid as much as possible any extra charges occurred from any delays further to our free waiting time:

Domestic Flights - at least 15mins after landing

European Flights - at least 30mins after landing

International Flights - at least 45mins after landing
Contact us as soon as possible on +44 20 3879 4916. We will have monitored the flight and as a result we will not have despatch a driver. Your transfer order will be placed on HOLD for 24 hours, during which you can rebook your transfer at no extra cost.
The allocated driver will be waiting for you at the arrivals hall, with a board listed your name. Our driver will schedule the pickup time according to the actual landing time of your flight .

You will be provided with the driver details prior to the journey commencing via text message, and will know the driver's name, phone number and all car registration details to ensure you are able to spot each other with ease.

If for any reason you are unable to locate your driver, it is best to contact the driver first as he will be able to assist you best. Hand Luggage = cabin bag (which you are allowed to take with you on board the plane) which shouldn't be any bigger/heavier than 56x36x23cm and/or 7kg (15lb)

Checked luggage = check in luggage or checked bag, which isn't taken with you on board the plane) which shouldn't be any bigger than 90x75x43cm and/or 23kg (51lb).

We do not make any promises on the type of vehicle that will be undertaking your transfer, we can never guarantee a specific make/model will be undertaking your transfer (exceptions can occur for the executive service).
Unfortunately we do not have any current vehicles within our fleet that allow for wheelchair access directly from street level. We are looking to add such vehicles to our fleet in the near future.If the wheelchair is only for storage purposes and no direct access is required, this can be done ensuring the correct vehicle is chosen.
Transport for London enforces that all licensed London taxis and minicabs offer their services to guide dog users without extra charging them. Pets are allowed within certain vehicles only.We apply aflat £5.00 charge (or more, depending on special circumstances) and the pet must travel within a safe cage or secure safety lease/harness while in transit (this is a law requirement).
Please note child seats are not a requirement in Taxi & Private Hire Vehicles, for this reason we do not enforce these while undertaking a journey with us. In situations where we are forced to send a replacement driver short notice to avoid prolonged delays with a scheduled pickup, the newly allocated driver might be unable to provide the requested seat(s). In this situation a refund for any requested seat(s) will be reflected in the overall journey cost. Although we will do our best to ensure the driver undertaking your journey has the requested seat, we cannot guarantee this will be provided by the driver.

Booster Seats (between 3 and 8 years old);

Seats can be requested in advance and occur a charge of £5.00 per seat.
You can cancel your booking at any stage, but we would appreciate your notice of cancellation as soon as possible, to avoid situations were a driver is already en route to the requested pickup address. We recommend you do this at least 24 hours prior to your required pick-up. Short notice request cannot always be honoured seeing we might not have an available driver in the area of your request or we might be fully booked at the time.

In case you think you have forgotten something in one of our driver's vehicles, please contact us as soon as you can. Should we spot or find any misplaced items, we will contact you and arrange for a courier service to return the items to you. Please note all courier service charges will be payable prior to the package being sent.
The allocated driver will be waiting for you in front of the address specified in your booking reservation, or nearest parking point available. For any problems you can always contact your driver on the provided number for further support.

The price quoted by our website ( or operator) is the price you will be paying at the end of the transfer and it represents the cost of the entire transfer (not per passenger).

Extra charges will only apply in situations where...

You go over the free waiting time included in your journey (15 minutes included with regular pick-ups and 60 minutes with airport and port pick-ups);

You alter the initial journey request (you add an additional stop on the way or diversion);

You upgrade your vehicle type or request additional waiting time;

Waiting time after free period is 5 GBP for 15 minutes. Diversions - Minimum charge 5.00 GBP Extra Passengers or Luggage - Vehicle Upgrade charge.
The allocated driver will be waiting for you at the arrivals hall, with a board listed your name. Depending on the location you will be arriving at, please check below:

Hotels (London & Outside London area) - all hotels have the pick-up point located at the main entrance / reception (our driver will usually call on the provided phone number when arriving at the pick up address). If parking is available at the front entrance of the hotel, our driver will be waiting in the available area.

Train Stations - all train stations have the pick-up point located at the taxi rank just outside the station (please follow station signs). You can also schedule the pick-up point from the info centre inside the station (with meet & greet included), but extra fees will apply.

Port, Cruise & Ferries - all ports (incl cruise terminals) & ferry pick-ups come included with the meet & greet feature, meaning our driver will be waiting for you at the designated meet & greet point with your name displayed on a board. Depending on the port/terminal you will be arriving at, your driver will be waiting for you at the taxi stand closest to your arrival gate.

WiFi & internet access comes included as complimentary service with our executive package. If you want access to WiFi during a regular transfer, please note there is a £5 charge applicable.
We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We undertake transfers at any time of the day or night .
Refreshments comes included as complimentary service with our executive package. If you have such requirements during a regular transfer, please note there is a £5 charge applicable.  
You can choose to pay in cash to the driver or by card online – via payment link-prior to the transfer.
We do not currently accept card payments within the vehicle (once boarded), all payments are processed online via our secure website or payment link provided (sent after booking is processed, but must be paid prior to journey commencing).
Tips are not included in the quoted price. This can be given additionally if you are happy with the service received, but is not a requirement.
